I'm at a barber shop with my dad and brother. We are all there to get our haircut. I go first. The barber is a woman. She starts cutting my hair and has my head in an odd position. When the barber is half done, she turns me around to look in the mirror. I realize she shaved through the middle of my head creating a reverse mohawk. My dad and brother are surprised. I am upset, but I don't show it. I try to brush the hair on the side of my head into the middle to hide the shaved strip in the middle of my head. We all leave the barber shop.
This dream may be a reflection of feeling vulnerable or exposed in a particular situation. The barber shop may symbolize a need for change or transformation, perhaps in your current lifestyle or habits. Your dad and brother may represent external influences that you feel are pressuring you into conforming to a certain image or way of life. The reverse mohawk haircut in the dream may represent a sense of non-conformity or rebellion against this pressure to conform. The fact that you try to hide the shaved strip may indicate a fear of not being accepted for expressing your true self.
